Victoria Tustain BMus, Diploma in Music
Victoria began learning the piano at the age of six at music school, Russia, where she attained Grade 8 standard with Distinction. She continued to study piano at the music college where she gained her diploma in piano performing and accompaniment and at the Pedagogical University where she completed her teaching diploma. Whilst at the Music College she specialised in Russian repertoire such as Rachmaninov, Scriabin, Shostakovich, Prokofiev and Kabalevsky. As an undergraduate and as a teacher she also held a position as an accompanist at the Music School.
Victoria joined Matrix in 2004, teaching Yamaha Music Courses for children and also giving individual lessons to both children and adults of all levels. Individual piano students are offered the opportunity to take ABRSM exams and encouraged to perform at informal and formal concerts, local festivals, competitions and masterclasses both for beginners and the more advanced players. Victoria is a Member of the European Piano Teacher's Association.
