Open days

At Matrix we always offer a free taster lesson before you make any decision about joining a group music course.

See below for venues and dates - contact us to book a free taster lesson or to let us know if you would like to be invited to future open days. These are held twice a year, in March and October. After families have had a trial lesson, it is possible to reserve a place on a course.

Course Junior Music Course (Yamaha course)
Age 4 or 5 years old at the start of the course (the initial course lasts 2 years)
Length of lesson 1 hour, accompanied by parent/carer

Course Adventures in Music (Matrix course)
Age 3 year olds
Length of lesson 1/2 hour, accompanied by parent/carer
Free taster lesson Rolling intake - please ask to try out a session

Course Elementary Music Course (Yamaha course)
Age 6 years at the start of the course
Length of lesson 1 hour, initially accompanied by parent/carer
