Terms and Conditions – Yamaha Music School Courses
How we work in brief:
-
One term’s notice is needed to stop lessons (usually around six weeks)
-
We invoice three times a year
-
Refunds for missed lessons are not given
-
Individual Yamaha piano lessons work in the same way as group lessons
-
We invoice via email: online payment is preferable, but cheques/cash also accepted
-
Lessons continue in the same time unless notice is given, however, the lesson time may change for follow-on courses or if classes are too small
-
Ideally, the adult that accompanies JMC children should be the one that helps with practice
-
No younger siblings should be present in lessons
-
Term dates can be found here - there are generally around 36 teaching weeks each year
-
No food or drink in classrooms
-
We may photograph or film lessons (let us know if this is a problem)
-
Parking restrictions exist in The Nursery, Sutton Courtenay - don't park directly in front of the offices opposite the centre before 6pm
Please communicate any worries to your teacher, Lindsay or Antonia. Music education is a very special area and it can also be very fragile, so we want to do our best to support your family.
